Most objects that are suitable to be animated - e.g. humanoids and animals - have an embedded Character Animation node by default.
There are specific animations for different models. For example humanoid models can use any other humanoid animations, but if those animations were applied to four-legged animals the results may be weird.
To change an animation, add a new animation from the Asset Library. Then, go to an animated model's Advanced Details and select the new animation from the list.
📢 Note: The Character Animation node is only visible in the Logic node browser when you open the browser by tapping the Add Node button in an object's Advanced Details panel.
Enabled | Enable or disable the node. Disabled nodes cannot be executed |
Loop | Determines if the animation plays once or loops indefinitely |
Animation | Choose which animation to use |
Speed | Adjust the speed of the animation. 1 = default speed |
Set Position | Set at which point the animation should start 0 = Start of the animation 1 = End of the animation |
