Particle Effects are the digital version of phenomena we see in real life, such as smoke, fire, or sparks. Imagine each particle as a little dot that can move, change color, and/or disappear over time. When you put some of these particles together, they create amazing effects like stars twinkling in the sky or glowing spells. They are made of emitters, which are the bits you see when the effect executes. A Particle Effect can have up to 5 emitters.
Using these in your games will be very useful, as they help players understand what's happening, like showing when something gets hit or highlighting important events. They can also make your game feel alive, with effects like dust or splashing water.
Each Particle Effect works as a logic node, and you will find the following properties in the Details panel:
For more information on these and how they work, check out our Particle Effect documentation.
